Frequently asked

Questions, answered briefly.

Pricing, crypto payments, privacy, models, and accounts. If you don't see your question, write to owner@rendermix.app.

Plans, refunds, streams

Is this a real subscription? Will I be charged again automatically?

No. There is no auto-renewal and no card on file. A pass runs for a fixed period — 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days — and stops. To keep using RenderMix, you make another on-chain payment when you want one. Nothing recurs in the background.

What happens when my pass expires?

You can no longer start new generations. Existing outputs remain available in your account until they auto-prune (90 days after creation). Buy a new pass and you're back in immediately — no re-onboarding.

Can I get a refund?

Crypto is irreversible by design — once a transaction confirms on-chain, neither we nor your wallet can undo it. The exception: if our system breaks and you lose pass time you paid for, email owner@rendermix.app within 7 days and we'll make it right. The full policy is in the Terms.

What is a "stream", and when do I need more than one?

A stream is one generation running in parallel. Day, Week, and Month passes give you 1 stream — submit a second job and it queues behind the first. Pro and Studio tiers add 2 and 4 parallel streams for users who batch heavily. See all plans →

Are there any usage limits inside a pass?

No render quota and no rate limits. The only ceiling is the parallelism cap from your stream count — a 1-stream pass runs one job at a time, but back-to-back you can run as many as your pass allows. You pay for time, not output.

Networks, confirmations, mistakes

I've never paid with crypto. Is this hard?

If you already have a wallet with USDC or USDT and a few cents of gas: it's two clicks — paste the address, send. If you don't yet, the easiest path is buying USDC on a regulated exchange (Coinbase, Kraken, Binance) and withdrawing to a self-custody wallet such as Rabby, MetaMask, or Phantom. We can't accept cards directly.

Which networks and tokens do you accept?

USDC on Polygon, Arbitrum One, and Base. USDT on Polygon and Arbitrum One. All credit the same pass — pick whichever combination has the lowest gas fees from your wallet.

How fast does my pass activate?

Usually within 30 seconds — the time it takes for the network to confirm the transaction. The dashboard polls automatically and flips your pass to active; you don't need to refresh anything.

What if I send the wrong amount or the wrong network?

Each invoice has a unique deposit address and a precise amount. Underpay, and the invoice waits for the rest. Overpay, and the surplus is credited to your account balance. Sent on a network we don't watch? The funds are not gone — recovery is manual but possible. Email owner@rendermix.app with the transaction hash.

What we keep, and what we don't

Is my prompt private? Can anyone else see it?

There is no public gallery, no shared feed, no profile pages. Your prompts and outputs are visible only inside your own account. We don't index prompts and we don't have a "share to community" feature. The Showcase page links to public works on the upstream provider — none of your private generations appear there.

Do you train AI on my prompts or outputs?

No. We don't train models, we don't have a training pipeline, and we don't license your data to third parties for training. We're a console for existing models, nothing more.

How long do you keep my data?

Generated images and videos auto-prune 90 days after creation. Audit logs (login attempts, billing events) are retained for security and abuse-prevention. The account record is kept while the account exists. Full breakdown on the Privacy page.

What about the upstream model providers — what do they see?

To run your generation we forward the prompt and parameters to the upstream provider (currently Civitai). They have their own retention policy. We don't send your email, account name, or any other identifier — only the prompt and parameters needed to render the request.

What you can render

Which models can I use?

Image: Illustrious-class diffusion models for general work, plus tuned variants for specific styles. Video: Wan 2.1, Veo Fast, Veo Standard, Kling, and HappyHorse. The full preset list is in the dashboard once you sign in. New models get added when their cost-to-quality ratio stabilises.

Can I do image-to-video or use a reference image?

Yes. Most video presets support both image-to-video (your image is the first frame) and reference-to-video (your image conditions the generation but isn't a frame). Capabilities vary per model — the preset's settings panel shows what each one accepts.

Is NSFW content allowed?

NSFW imagery of fictional characters and consenting adult subjects is allowed within limits. Not allowed: CSAM, deepfakes of real identifiable people, content illegal in your or our jurisdiction, content meant to harass or impersonate. The binding version is in the Terms.

Can I use the outputs commercially?

From our side, yes — we don't claim any rights over your generations. But you should verify the licence terms of the underlying model. Some research checkpoints carry non-commercial licences which RenderMix can't override.

Onboarding, deletion, broken renders

Do I need to verify my email?

Yes — you'll get a verification link after signup. Until you click it you can browse the site, but you can't pay or generate. Email delivery goes through Resend; we don't use it for tracking or marketing.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, from the Account page after signing in. Stored outputs and personal data are removed; some audit and security logs are retained for a limited period as required by law and for abuse-prevention.

Something broke during a render. Was I charged?

You don't lose pass time for a failed render — there's no per-generation quota to consume. The job simply doesn't produce output. If you're seeing systematic failures, email owner@rendermix.app and include the time and approximate model.
